What is a CCTV Drain Survey?
A CCTV drain survey allows you and our drainage engineers the opportunity to see the condition of your drains. A CCTV drain survey is a comprehensive written and visual report issued to you, and includes all (if any) identified issues and recommendations. All the recommended work found on a CCTV drain survey can be conducted by C&L.
Initially, the engineer will lift all the known utility hole lids and complete a thorough diagram of the utility holes, grounds, and any points of reference. Our engineer will then work either upstream or downstream, depending on the access. The camera will record the full circumference of the pipe, noting any damage, cracks, displacements, or roots. Any issues noticed during the drain survey by the engineer will be put into the written report and a suggested rectification offered.
